Description
This unique 3 Oz Silver coin is a tribute to the bubble wrap portrait: a raw, contemporary art that turns a fragile, throwaway material into a textured canvas for creative expression. Each bubble breathes dimension. Art you don’t just see, but feel. In this edition, the bubbles break to unveil Salvator Mundi. Holy and ghosted by centuries. Attributed to Leonardo da Vinci, yet wrapped in doubt. Christ, cloaked in Renaissance robes, raises one hand in benediction. The other cradles a crystal orb. Weightless. Fragile. Like the world itself. A Proof finish seals it. A shimmer of faith and mystery. The coin is preserved in a case with its Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage of only 499 pieces worldwide.
Design
The reverse of this Silver coin features Christ in Renaissance robes. One hand lifted in silent benediction. The other cradles a crystal orb. The world, trapped in its glass skin. A shroud of bubble wrap cloaks the composition, guarding it like a fragile secret. Two tears reveal glimpses of the painting beneath. One placed over the eye, the other resting on the raised hand. On the obverse, the Effigy of King Charles III rises sovereign, encircled by the inscriptions: “CHARLES III” – the name of the King, “COOK ISLANDS” – the issuing country, “20 DOLLARS” – the face value, and “2025” – the year of issue.
