Design
The reverse of this Silver coin presents a faithful reproduction of a child's paper airplane, shaped in 3D with remarkable precision. The tip bears a delicate dent, just like the nose of a plane that's already taken its first glorious flight. Every detail evokes innocence and creativity: from the playful, handwritten engravings that run along the wings, mimicking the labels children dreamily add to their aircraft, to the two embossed emblems placed at the wingtips, which resemble aircraft crests. On the reverse, the inscriptions: “2 Oz Silver 999 – the weight of the coin and the fineness of Silver, “499 pcs.” – the limited mintage, “2 Dollars” – the face value, “Niue Island” – the issuing country, and “2025” – the year of issue.
